The Kioto name traces back to a single academy in Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, where the tradition began in 1965. Professor Milton Regis trained under that lineage before bringing it to Long Island. Every academy below is part of that same family, connected by a shared standard of instruction and a respect for where this art comes from.
